Sue and Al Ravitz have run the project space 57W57ARTS over past eleven years, with a focus on reductive and conceptual art. Located in Al’s psychiatric offices in Midtown Manhattan, they see their gallery as a way to show the art they like, and to create a community. 57W57ARTS has presented the work of close to 200 artists, mounting approximately eight shows per year, each consisting of several one-person exhibitions. This September, a new series began with five one-person shows.

DUMBO Open Studios 2025 with Audrey Stone

On April 26th and 27th, from 1 to 6 pm, artists in DUMBO will open their doors to the public as part of DUMBO Open Studios, offering a rare look inside the art studios along the Brooklyn waterfront. Since the 1970s, DUMBO has been shaped by its vibrant art community. This interview series highlights a handful of participating artists in 2025. Each response offers a glimpse of what’s waiting behind the studio door. Audrey has been in DUMBO since March, 2024. Her studio is at 45 Main Street, #1052.
